Angeline Marken Kinnaman

A life well lived!!  Angeline Marken Kinnaman, known to her many friends as Angie, passed from this life on December 25, 2024. Angie, a proud native of New Mexico, was born November 6, 1934, and had lived in Rawlins since 1961.

David McNett

David McNett, 71, of Medicine Bow, Wyoming, passed away peacefully at home on September 17, 2024. Dave is survived by his wife, Karen; brothers Steve (Melinda), Ed (Diane), and Grady (Karen); children Ened (Orion), Betty (Travis), Jason, Corie (Gregg); grandchildren Ozara, Tanner, Arjuna, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by loving parents George and Maxine.

Norma Jean Jennings

Norma Jean Jennings, 81, passed away Tuesday, September 17th, 2024, at the Memorial Hospital of Carbon County in Rawlins, WY. 

Brandie JoEllen (Borrego) Beadle

Brandie JoEllen Beadle (Borrego), aged 47, passed away on March 17, 2024, in Fresno, California. Born on January 19, 1977, in Rawlins, Wyoming, she was a vibrant and outgoing individual who cherished her family and friends deeply.

Edward E. and Karen Alice Martinez

Edward and Karen Martinez will have a celebration of their lives on Saturday, July 27, 2024.  The memorial will begin at the Rawlins Cemetery to place their urns at 1 PM with a reception to follow at the Rochelle Ranch Golf Course restaurant from 2 until 4.  Friends and family are invited to share the many memories and experiences we all shared.

Ray Elias Ortiz

Ray Elias Ortiz was born to Ray and Molly Ortiz on August 7, 1955, in Rawlins, Wy.  He attended Pershing grade school, Rawlins junior high school and graduated from Rawlins High School. Growing up he played basketball on a team coached by our neighbor Max Archuleta. He also boxed as a youngster and was coached by Abe DeHerrera.  He loved to camp with family.  He loved eating and trying new foods.  He also became a very good cook. He loved to travel and loved  his aunts, uncles and cousins.

Taylor “Toby” B. Smith, III

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m Friday, July 5, 2024 at the Medicine Bow Community Hall at 221 Pine Street. Please wear bib overalls and/or red shirts if you have them.

Internment will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Middle Creek Ranch (MCR) Cemetery, 774 Highway 34, Bosler, Wyoming.

A service will be held for Robert V. Johnson on Friday, June 17, 2024 beginning at 11:00am at the St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 218 E. Spring Avenue, Saratoga, Wyoming  82331.

Robert “Bob” C. Umberger

Robert “Bob” C. Umberger, age 75, passed away peacefully at his home in Hanna, Wyoming surrounded by the ones he loved on December 31st, 2023. Bob was born on April 16th, 1948, in Medford, Oregon to Sam and Ione (Elrod) Umberger. He was 1 of 4 children. (Roy, Bonnie and Micheal)

Bob graduated from Enterprise High School in Redding California in 1966.

Robert Victor Johnson

Robert Victor Johnson of Saratoga, WY, passed away on December 28, 2023. Bob was 83 years old and the beloved husband of G. Glee Johnson for 62 years. They were married on May 13, 1961, at St. Laurence O’Toole Catholic Church in Laramie, WY.

William “Bill” Klemola

William “Bill” Klemola passed away on November 22, 2023, in Torrington, Wyoming due to a sudden illness. “Klem”, “Coach Klem”, “Pa” was born in Hanna Wyoming on December 30, 1937 to Wayne and Helen (Briggs) Klemola. The family moved to Washington during the war where his dad was a welder in the shipyards and his mom was a riveter for Boeing.

“Toby” Baxter Smith, lll

Taylor “Toby” Baxter Smith lll, 79, of Medicine Bow passed away peacefully at home on November 2, 2023, after several years of fighting poor health. 

Vicki Lea Korkow

With her loving family at her side, Vicki Lea Korkow peacefully passed away on July 17, 2023, at Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie, Wyoming. She was 71 years old.
