However, a disconnect between observed physical processes and modeling capabilities has been revealed, exposing a need to improve understanding of snowmelt dynamics.

UW President’s Honor Roll

The University of Wyoming lists 21 students from Carbon County on the 2024 fall semester President’s Honor Roll. The President’s Honor Roll consists of regularly enrolled undergraduates who earned a 4.0 (“A”) grade-point average for the semester. To be eligible, students must have been enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours taken for letter grades.

Wold Foundation Supports Student Success in Oil and Gas with New UW Excellence Fund

A major gift from the Wold Foundation to the University of Wyoming School of Energy Resources (SER) will enhance the educational opportunities for UW students and to support its long legacy of serving Wyoming’s oil and gas sector.

The $225,000 contribution is doubled by the state of Wyoming’s matching program to create the Wold Foundation Oil and Gas Student Success Fund.
