The tax season still has a little over a month to go, but it can seem daunting when a person is just not sure what forms to fill out and what can be deducted and what can’t.

Wendy Faldowski with the Wyoming Free Tax Service is a person who can help.

“I have been doing this for 19 years,” Faldowski said. “The program itself has been out for over 30 years”

Two Years and Getting Stronger

“Two year anniversary and we made it,” Ellen Freeman, owner of Heart of Hanna, said. “It has been an evolution.”

Freeman said the shop, which is one part consignment shop, one part thrift store which has a large selection of items for a  quarter, and one part food pantry for the community, started out as a thrift store only under Sondra Chapman.

It closed on December 30.

Danny Burau who founded The Malt and before that its predecessor Firewater Public House, is moving.
