The farmers market in Laramie started about 10 years ago in the downtown area of Laramie. It was on 2nd Street and a block would shut down.

Kim Jessen, who is the volunteer coordinator of the Farmers Market, has been doing it for three years now.

She said that about five years ago, it was decided to move the market to the largest parking lot in downtown.
