I was shocked and saddened to learn of Rex’s passing. I used to see him at the Medicine Bow Senior Center quite often as I dropped off the Comet. Rex was declining mentally, but he was always cheerful and he loved our paper. 

I find it especially sad that he passed away just before Veterans’ Day.
