In response to escalating wildfire risks, Carbon County officials have enacted stringent fire restrictions prohibiting open flames and the use of incendiary or tracer ammunition until further notice. The decision, made by the Board of Carbon County Commissioners, aims to mitigate the heightened fire danger posed by prolonged dry conditions and accumulated fuel loads.
