The Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) has confirmed a third case of measles in Wyoming. The most recent case is related to an unvaccinated adult from Carbon County. Measles is a highly contagious infection that can cause severe illness. The person was exposed outside of the United States.
The weather has been getting hot lately and making the flora dry. Rattlesnakes are being sighted in Rawlins and Hanna town limits and in truth, rattlers could be found in other Carbon County municipalities.
Saratoga’s next blood drive with Vitalant is on Tuesday, July 15th, from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm at the Platte Valley Community Center. The drive is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and will include a slice of fresh, home-baked pie for all donors.
