The Hanna, Elk Mountain, Medicine Bow (HEM) High School football team played hard against a larger Casper Christian team and did not quit although they lost 57 to 26.

“They didn’t give up,” HEM Head Coach Zach Scott said. “We had a million positives today. I am proud of every single player. They just wouldn’t give up.”

Dubois falls to Little Snake River Valley

Head coach Jack Cobb for the Little Snake River Valley (LSRV) High School football team could not help but be pleased with how his Rattler team played against the Dubois Rams on Saturday when they won 62 to 20.

The Little Snake River Valley (LSRV) High School Football team continued their winning ways from last year as State Champions by taking on a good Meeteetse team and beating them handily.

Flinging away at new Rochelle Golf Course

There is a new sport taking off in the nation and Rawlins is one of the places it is taking off.

The Rochelle Ranch Golf Course is introducing FlingGolf, a new way to enjoy golf courses, using a specially designed FlingStick and a regulation golf ball. Instead of hitting the ball with a club, players use a single FlingStick to propel the ball from tee to hole.

LSRV Rattlers gear up for another season

The Little Snake River Valley (LSRV) High School football team has a tradition of winning. They have won three out of four State Championships in 6-man football in the last four years. 

Last year was one of the years the Rattlers won the State Championship.

There are those in Carbon County who know Jeremy Jones as their chiropractor that they drive to Laramie to get treated.

Jones has about 30 percent of his patients come from Carbon County and many have been going to him for years. He not only treats humans but has been known to treat dogs and horses.
