The City of Rawlins is proud to announce the selection of the City of Rawlins attorney, Pinita Maberry-Nave. Mayor Terry Weickum stated, “We are excited to have Pinita join the incredible Rawlins team.” Prior to assuming her current position as City Attorney, Maberry-Nave served as the Interim City Attorney.

The April 2, Rawlins City Council meeting began with a work session to consider the rates residents pay for water and sewer.

The Carbon County Council of Governments (CCCOG) met on March 20 at the Platte Valley Community Center.

The majority of the evening was spent on the subject of cyber security.

Towns represented for the evening were Rawlins, Saratoga, Elk Mountain, Dixon, Encampment and Carbon County.

Hanna Town Council Talks About Streets

The Hanna Town Council on March 12 at the Hanna Town Hall. The meeting started a half hour earlier because of a public hearing of a transfer of a liquor license for Dingy Dan’s and later at 6:15 a hearing for the opening of bids for two public works trucks for the town of Hanna.

The regularly scheduled meeting started at 6:30 p.m.
