The Rochelle Ranch Golf Course is a treasure to many golf enthusiasts in Wyoming and the Country, for that matter.  A person largely responsible for this golf course in Rawlins is Kevin Gannon, the golf pro of the facility.

Gannon is a Wyoming guy, but he was born and raised down the road in Laramie.

A new downtown business is bringing an unusual combination of sewing, handmade goods, loose-leaf teas and traditional apothecary products to Saratoga.

Stitchcraft Haberdashery & Mercantile, owned by Jess and Brad Doudna recently opened its doors on Bridge Street, offering everything from custom clothing and alterations to incense, herbs, teas and handmade products.

Brush Creek Distillery, the award-winning small-batch craft distillery set on a working cattle ranch in Wyoming’s Platte River Valley, which is also home to Brush Creek Ranch, announced today the promotion of two of its longstanding distillers. Philip Mundt will now serve as Market Development Manager and Head Distiller Emeritus, and Ethan Whitman will step up as Head Distiller.

Thrift Store Turns Treasures Into Community Support

Christine “Crissy” Cruz-Ford opened Prairie Treasures Thrift Store in the business district of downtown Rawlins in February and the address is 311 W. Cedar Street.

She is open Tuesday to Saturday and starts business at 11 a.m.

She is happy to be in her location for several reasons.

Energy Day at the Carbon County Fair is an opportunity for kids to get to learn about different companies that supply utilities in a fun and educational way.

There are electric companies, gas companies and engineering and consulting companies that give the kids the opportunity to ask questions.
