A divided Encampment Town Council approved a fence request, learned of a cracked valve at the town’s sewer lagoon and reviewed progress on several infrastructure projects during its regular meeting Thursday, Oct. 8.

The council also discussed potential financial benefits from a proposed generating station, fifth-penny sales tax education and upcoming community activities.
