David McNett

David McNett, 71, of Medicine Bow, Wyoming, passed away peacefully at home on September 17, 2024. Dave is survived by his wife, Karen; brothers Steve (Melinda), Ed (Diane), and Grady (Karen); children Ened (Orion), Betty (Travis), Jason, Corie (Gregg); grandchildren Ozara, Tanner, Arjuna, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by loving parents George and Maxine.

Dave served during the Vietnam War, in the Army, and later in the Coast Guard Reserves. He received an associate’s degree in Criminology and one in Carpentry from Grays Harbor College, Washington. Dave worked for the Elma, Washington, and Montesano, Washington, police departments and retired from the Simpson Door Company.

Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with family, wood carving, carpentry, cartooning, and riding his motorcycle with the Patriot Guard of Casper. He was a kind, generous, loving man who adored children and helped everyone he could.
