First Responders Honored with Breakfast

During the week of March 5, the Carbon County School District No. 2 (CCSD2) showed its appreciation for first responders by offering an excellent blueberry pancake breakfast at the different schools throughout the district.

The Fundraiser that Gives Back to the Community

The Hanna Volunteer Fire Department had a fundraiser on March 11 at 5;30 p.m. at the Hanna Fire Station.

The firefighters had pancakes and sausage off the grill. It was a breakfast dinner. It was free to the public but donations were accepted.

The fundraiser on this day, Hanna Fire Chief Mark Kostovny said, was for the community.

Helping Veterans in Carbon County

Emily Study, a Veterans Services Officer with the Wyoming Military Department, visits Carbon County a couple times a month.

She serves Carbon County and Albany County.

Study went to Hanna for the first time on February 21 to the Recreation Center to help veterans with any questions they might have.
