St. Vincent de Paul will be distributing Christmas food baskets to families in need on Saturday, December 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Glode said libraries were considered to be established some years before they actually were in Carbon County.

Retired veteran Josh Welch met retired veteran Mike Lujan, owner of Mike’s Big City Steakhouse, at an exercise by the military to keep the nation operating in case of heavy military strikes on USA’s airfields.

The Hanna, Elk Mountain, Medicine Bow (HEM) High School was the scene for honoring veterans on November 11 with a breakfast and tribute to all those who served in the military. The event was the 14th National Honor Society’s (NHS) Annual Celebration at HEM.
